Novus Bank Direct and Novus Home Mortgage are divisions of Ixonia Bank – a community bank headquartered in Ixonia, WI. The bank was initially formed in 1917 as Ixonia State Bank by a group of local businessmen in the area.
In the spring of 2013, ISB Community Bank returned to its roots and renamed itself as Ixonia Bank. Ixonia Bank is a unique name that has historically connoted strength and soundness.
Ixonia Bank operates retail branches exclusively in Southeast Wisconsin.
Novus Home Mortgage is a residential mortgage lending division of the bank serving retail customers in various markets around the country. Novus Bank Direct was formed specifically to address the mortgage needs of small community banks by leveraging the back end platform of Novus Home Mortgage.
